In my senior year of high school, I started a food-sharing startup called Divvy. Divvy essentially lets neighbors to share food or donate leftover foods to food banks. So far, this app has been tested in three towns. I have plans to allow independent grocers to sell their “ugly“ or nearly expired food on the app for discounted prices. The screenshots show what the testing app looked like. I aim to add location and messaging capabilities to this app, along with updating the interface. This app was made using Swift and Parse as backend.
